Spring of 1990:
Devon and his parents moved to San Antonio, Texas.
November 1991: Devon moved to
Waianae, Hawai'i
where he lived for about six months.
May 1992:
Devon moved to
Wheeler Air Force Base
(now Wheeler Army Air Field) near the town of Wahiawa, Hawai'i
September 1993:
Devon stated going to school at
Wheeler Elementary School
. He attended Wheeler Elementary until he was in third grade.
October 1996:
Devon and his family move to
Conway, Arkansas
May 1998:

Chester, Vermont

as a fourth grader. During the winter, when the
Okemo Ski Resort
was open for skiing, the school would shutdown at noon on Wednesdays and all the kids would go to Okemo to learn how to ski. Can you picture Devon skiing?
January 1999:
Devon and his family move to
Lakeway, TX
. Devon attends Lakeway Elementary School as a fifth and Sixth Grader. Shortly after moving to Lakeway, he had his first and second Epileptic seizures.
May 2000:
Devon and his family move into their new house in the Oakhill area of Austin, TX.
August 2000:
Devon attends
Clint Small Middle School
. Devon joins the schools soccer team and basketball team. He also begins learning how to play the Baritone Horn
August 2002:
Devon Starts attending
James Bowie High School
. During his freshman year, he joins the Bowie Marching Band. While participating in the Marching Band, Devon has to be rushed to the emergency room twice for severe rhabdomyolysis. This is the first signs of McArdle's Disease.
May 2006:

June 2006:
Devon goes on a highschool trip to Europe. On June 11th, he turns 18 during the trip and has his first legal adult drink. That legal drink was very short lived. Afterall he had to return to the United States, where he had to wait three more years before he could have his next legal drink.
May 25, 2007:

Mathew LaForest
is killed in Taji Iraq, while serving in the Army.
Sometime in 2009
Devon gets a tatoo.
June 2010:
Devon and his parents go on a Carribean Cruize to celebrate his 21st birthday. During the trip there were six ports of call. Each day we would try a new locally brewed beer. On board the ship, he manages to have over $300 in beverage charges applied to his room.
September 2010:
Devon moves into his
first appartment
. He and is roommates get an appartment on the third floor. What a pain in the back moving his stuff.
Spring 2011:
Devon has his first adult Epileptic seizure. Per state law, he is unable to drive for six months and has to move back home.
Fall 2011:
Devon moves into a new appartment on the east side of town
October 13, 2013
While eating diner at his parents house, Devon has a seizure and his heart stops due to severe rhabdomyolysis. It takes the emergency reponse team over 50 mintues to restart his heart. He is transported to the Seton medical center where his is put into an induced coma for 48 hours. Over the next six weeks recovers at a neurogical rehab facility in Southwest Austin. In late November he move back home.
May 2014:
Devon moves into a house with Javin and Alex. The adventure begins. During the next three years, Devon slowing regains his motor skills.
July 2016:
Devon moves into a house on the far east side of Austin, that eventually he would have owned
October 13, 2016:
Three years after his the seizure that nearly took his life, Devon posts the following on Facebook: "A lot has changed these past 3 years for me. I went from laying on the floor of my parents house with no pulse for 50-something minutes, to (almost) having a big-boy job, a car payment, and a house I can call my own. I try to remember no matter how bad things get, some body has it worse. Always appreciate the small things in life. Laugh at the people who are grouchy. Just not to their face. What bothered you yesterday won't bother you tomorrow."
November 24, 2016:
While having Thanksgiving diner at his grandparents house, Devon has a seizure. Although he came around for a few minutes and was able to talk to the EMT responder, his heart stops. The EMT responders do everything they can, but were unable to save him.
